Bromley Fencing Club is based at The Harris Academy in Orpington in easy reach of Petts Wood, the Crays, Biggin Hill, Farnborough, Sevenoaks and Bromley.

Ages range from 8 to 18 but adults are welcome too and for both boys and girls, men and women.
We meet on Sundays between 10am and 12noon which is ideal for young people who have a busy school schedule or lots of activities during the week but need to burn off some energy at the weekend. And keep them off the game consoles!
All equipment is provided, all you need to do is provide something to drink such as squash or water. Do make sure you have some breakfast or your energy will fade before the end of the session.
A session starts with warm up games and fencing related exercises followed by fencing and individual coaching lessons.
We also have electric scoring kit which is used at all competitions these days.
Beginners are welcome at any time.
We have two well qualified and DBS(CRB) certified British Fencing coaches
The cost is £110 per term(*) for juniors and adults which can vary between 11 and 14 weeks or £10 per single session, which is really good value for a healthy physical and mental exercise and being kept occupied!
Discount available for two or more from same family
(*) Please note fees will vary by length of term and number of members
Fencers have the opportunity to enter County and Regional competitions and to take British Fencing Achievement Awards or just fence for fun and exercise.

Success for Bromley in Kent Foil Competition
Seif Zafran took the Silver Medal at the 2013 Annual Kenty County Foil competition for Under 16 year olds.
The competition, on Sunday 10th November, took place at Tonbridge School Sports Centre where Seif competed against twelve other boys from clubs in Maidstone, Tenterden, Blackheath, Beckenham and a large contingent from Tonbridge School.
Club member Deniz Ali came 8th being knocked out in the quarter-final.
The competition was won by Tate Essien from Bishop Challoner school in Beckenham.
This was a really good result for Seif who has only been fencing a short while and a very satisfying outcome for Bromley Club.
